Tonight Debrecen let us down losing 2-0 but we have made some back on the Celtic match, plus the price I quoted on the Basel match reduced to around 1.9 from 2.2 by kick off so your losses should have been less.
Onto tomorrow and a few big teams start action in the Europa League.
One of which is Liverpool and I feel Hodgson may play this game very cagey. Yes Liverpool are the bigger team but they have none of their big World Cup stars playing and so a very inexperienced attacking side of the field will be used. Given Liverpool will have Gerrard and co back for next week at home I think Liverpool will be happy for this to stay tight, given they have more defensive options that attacking in Macedonia for the game I don’t really see Liverpool going all out attack.
Even though Liverpool are weakened I am not going to lay them simply because they still have enough to get a goal as quite simply we don’t know quite what to expect from Rabotnicki.

Given the relatively short odds I am going for a lay on the goals market.

Lay over 3.5 goals @ 3.3 for £50
Back over 3.5 goals @ 6.6 for £25
Stop loss - Back over 3.5 goals @ 1.65 for £100


The other game that interests me is FC Nordsj v.s Sporting Lisbon.
The home team haven’t played a vast majority of European football having only played 5 home matches. Winning 3 and losing 2.
Sporting meanwhile have been involved in 3 friendlies recently resulting in a total of 12 goals being scored and this against a lot better opposition than what they face tomorrow.
FC Nordsj have had one 0-0 draw at home in 22 matches and this just takes into account the Norwegian League teams.
Plain and simply I feel the odds on the draw are a little short so I am willing to take it on as I can see at least 1 goal here for Sporting.

Lay the draw @ 4.2 for £50
Back the draw @ 8.4 for £25
Stop loss - Back the draw @ 2.0 for £105


That will be my lot for tomorrow so back with more tomorrow night if I see anything worth trading on Friday.

Total of 6 trades today with 4 winners and 2 losers. Been an really good week so far with 165 pips which could be X whatever you wanted it to be really £1, £5, £10 etc. Suppose thats the beauty of Forex - its not the number of pips as much as the pip value.

I’ve attached the charts - only 2 out of the 5 pairs though. 2 winning trades on the gbp/usd and the loser on the eur/jpy.

Think i did well to come out with any kind of profit today even if it was only a few pips. 6 trades altogether with 3 winners and 3 losers. 1 of the losers closed out at less than the 20 pip stop loss inside the emas.

Will put some charts up again for tomorrows trading.

Obviously i havent been trading Black Dog for the last 2 weeks but i did come across someone else who has just started trading it & has been recording their results. This guy has been using the original Black Dog system (basically you get the 3 systems , the original Black Dog, MTF2 & MTF3) to get a proper feel for the strategy before moving onto the other variations.

He might not feel the need to move onto the other 2 because he seems to be doing pretty well with the original strategy & is currently 456 pips up after just over a week. He uses 6 pairs EUR/USD, GBP/USD, GBP/CHF, EUR/JPY, GBP/JPY, USD/CHF.

Left the 1minutedaily EA running while I was away and it seems to have worked without any issues. The balance is standing at £12,051.56 but the total equity is now £13,202.06 with open trades £1,150.50 in credit. More info here.

Just a couple of corrections to the information given previously regarding the 2 Betting Pro services. Most of the the new ‘trading’ service selections can be placed and left to run without any further intervention which makes it ideal for most of us who can be constantly checking the latest scores/odds etc. More info here.

The other thing is that the original Betting Pro service runs from now until the end of August 2011 (so 13 months & not 12).  More info here.

I’ve also just been advised that Betting Pros has launched a sports ‘Trading’ service which has had a very successful trial period since April. It will be on a monthly subscription basis and for the full results and more information please click here.

Due to the ‘live’ nature of sports ‘trading’ you would need to be able to follow the selections live but as the vast majority of the selections will be at the weekend or in the evenings its possible to use the service around a 9-5 job.
