Long day today after not going into the USD/GBP trade flagged up by the MTF3 signal this morning. It was just too far away from the MA’s to be classed as a valid trade under my rules and, whilst its obviously disappointing to miss such a nice trade, i think sticking to the plan may be wiser long term than picking up some big winners.

I did enter a trade on USD/GBP later on when the price retraced to the 15ma and closed it @ 6pm for 10 pips. I’m more than happy with that & its been another good week.

Just the 1 lay this afternoon which lost ie won for us. Just a bit more about the service - there are 2 emails a day - 1 is for the days racing lays and the evening one is for any sports lays which they may recommend.

A couple of people have queried the validity of the ‘Final Review’ on last nights post which recorded a trebling of the bank in 4 weeks - all i can say is that i have received the emails from Lay The Best for the past 2 weeks and the results recorded are exactly as i had them. The site which ran that review is pretty objective as far as i can make out and have dismissed a lot of services which havent performed. This service has performed.

Another 32 pip winner for the EUR/USD part of this service & the GBP/USD is up to 210 pips up for November (depending on which profit target your looking at) so looks like the service could be over the little blip in October.

If you look at the year as a whole across the 2 currencies they’re up nearly 4000 pips and that only includes the EUR/USD results from August. It just shows that every service is going to have a bad patch without fail and thats all part of trading. The difficulty is if it happens in your first month - if you lose a couple of hundred pips its unlikely anyone will persevere the following month without experience of previous winning months.

I’ve said before that this is a solid service which would have got us about £10,000 @ £5 a pip @ the 32 pip profit target (not even the most profitable for GBP/USD) since January.

They’re currently offering a free 14 day trial & this may be an ideal time to give them a try as they seem to be now performing as they were pre-October.
